Trip Preparation

For this trip we will be partnering with Forum, an educational travel company, who will be booking the air travel and arranging the group’s travel as well as lodging for Normandy and Paris. Additionally, in each of those cities, the group will be joined by a Forum tour guide.

As we draw nearer to the departure date, we will update this page with resources that may be of help, such as recommended books and packing tips. For now, you will want to make sure that you:

  1. Apply for a passport if you do not already have one, or, if you do have one, verify that it will be valid for the three months beyond the group’s return date (i.e., valid until at least June 16, 2019). If it will be expired, you will need to renew it. It is likely that you will have to do this in person, so please review the renewal information carefully and make an appointment. Do not wait to begin this application process; it may take longer than you anticipate.  We must provide valid passport information to our travel agent  in order for tickets to be issued.
  2. Have completed the Forum reservation form (which you also received by email). [Everyone has done this!  Merci!]
  3. By February 1, 2019, all parents/guardians, as well as any traveling students 18 years of age, need to have signed and returned the International Trip Liability Release and the Medical Consent form.  Additionally, please sign the Permission to Travel form.  Parents or guardians sharing a household may co-sign one form; those living in separate households must each return a form. Students who are no longer minors may sign the same form as their parents.
